The Definition and Anatomy of Model Driven Engineering and Domain Specific Languages
Mon 31 Oct 2016 16:55 - 17:20 at Matterhorn 1 - Session 2
We have been working full time over the past ten years creating Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) and Model Driven Engineering (MDE) solutions for many different companies. In that time, although one wouldn’t think it was so, we have found the most important element of these two areas of software technologies that must be understood very clearly by all involved (from customer to developer) is the anatomy and definitions of the terms of MDE and DSL themselves, in their raw simplicity. This talk relays our experiences in clarifying these terms with both technical and non-technical personnel.
